Every couple of months, I hop into my virtual Truck and take you for a ride; giving you a tour on what's happening within The Volvo Group!
If you've noticed that I've been posting a few announcements regarding career opportunities, it's because we are still hiring; particularly in Supplier Quality. In our Hagerstown Powertrain facility, we have an awesome opportunity. Currently we are looking for Top talent to travel at least 50%, work the APQP process from cradle to grave and have solid experience working with supplier quality.
Some of the key requirements for these positions are:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, etc.)
Automotive experience in proactive Quality activities such as but not limited to APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Gage R&R, Process Capability and PPAP.
Must have working knowledge of GD&T
ASQ Certifications in CQE, CQT, CQT and CQM preferred
Familiarization with engine components such as gears, valves, sleeves, crank shafts, pistons, etc… is a plus
