SEEKING STABILITY?

Hello to my faithful Blog Readers! I haven't written in a while because I've been "Really Busy"! The reorganization of the Volvo Group is progressing as planned and slowly but surely we are starting to ramp up on our hiring.   By maintaining a strengthened focus on our core business we have excelled this 2nd Quarter.


I talk with many applicants in a given week and I'm finding there is a commonality discussed in the interview, the phrase is "I'M SEEKING STABILITY" "I WANT TO WORK FOR A STABLE ORGANIZATION".  
As I interview and talk with candidates, I'm hearing all kinds of stories of no merits, burn out, no promotions; too companies moving to less desirable weather climates, office consolidations and the list goes on.  One thing I have found to be true as well as others is, the Volvo Group tenure is long, passion is strong and stability is common song amongst those that work here.

Also we are ON THE MOVE in terms of innovation.  We are in a time where having "SMART" objects is a necessity.  The Volvo Group has created something called Volvo’s Human in the Loop (HITL) simulators connect a real-life operator to a simulated machine, filling the gap between maths and actual prototypes.
