PMA Hosts Annual Conference for Automotive Suppliers

There are 0 comments | Post a commentSHARE: CLEVELAND, OH—March 17, 2011—The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) has scheduled its 18th Annual Automotive Parts Suppliers Council (APSC) meeting for May 2-3, 2011, in Novi, MI. The event features cutting-edge and timely automotive industry trend analysis, production forecasts, benchmarking, and discussion of strategic trends and changing conditions in the automotive market.

On Monday, May 2, at 1:30 p.m., the program begins with an opening address entitled What’s Next for Automotive Suppliers, followed by instructional tracks on strategies for success, how to strengthen your purchasing organization, how to do business globally, and marketing and sales techniques for automotive suppliers. The instructional tracks will be followed by a networking cocktail reception decorated with supplier exhibits.

Tuesday, May 3, begins with a continental breakfast, followed by an Automotive Supply Chain Panel moderated by Dave Andrea, with the Original Equipment Suppliers Association. Chrysler, Toyota, Ford, Lear and General Motors have been invited to participate. The panel will be followed by a general session presentation entitled Supply Contracting After the Great Recession, with Dan Sharkey, Brooks Wilkins Sharkey and Turco. The remainder of the morning is filled with instructional tracks addressing the North American vehicle forecast and supplier development. The event concludes with an industry networking luncheon.

The APSC meeting is an ideal forum for chief executive officers, presidents, chief financial officers and other senior executives of companies serving the automotive market to network with fellow automotive suppliers and hear the latest industry trends.
