Sr. Buyer Raw Material (RM) & Commodities: 9551BR Greensboro, NC

Responsible for overall execution and development of the RM purchasing plans and strategy. As well as develop supplier relationships/steel service center and mills as required, manage RM strategies with suppliers, supplier negotiations, analysis and reporting of current RM market and rates.

Minimum Education and Experience
MBA in Commodity Management preferred, OR a BA/BS degree in Business or Engineering.
• 5 years experience in a Global business providing purchasing/sourcing and strategic analysis and program development
• Maintain a regular update on cost in an excel based database data and manage the overall reconciliation of the global tool
• Manage full cycle all process and deliverables of steel procurement programs
• Driver and deliverer of Chassis purchasing for all RM/commodity information and networking with the market
• Conduct meetings covering analysis and reporting with buyers, other department heads related to RM/Commodity and pricing.
• Implement best practices across the continent with Global RM team and network
• Review, analyze, challenge and approve RM pricing, material cost level tags, and support buyers during negotiations;
• Develop and implement commodity hedging and other innovative programs related to RM/Commodity as well as conduct training programs and drive tech innovation that will provide cost/weight benefits and introduce material standardization
