INTERESTING THINGS IN GSO

Welcome back to my blog and my posting now called "Interesting Things in GSO!" As I evolve abviously so will things that interest me.(SMILING)

I am still a huge advocate for social networking even though at times you can become overloaded with information, user id's etc. Here are some tips to help help make you more effective.

-There are a gazillion (is that a word), social networking sites and more forming every day. My suggestion is that you number it to one or two, and make sure they can integrate with a main networking site like facebook or linkedin.

-Seek out your main interest and things that you identify with such as "circle of moms", "meetup-Poetry in GSO", "Linking Greensboro". Here are three distinct networking groups that I can focus and identify with Moms, Poets, and professionals in Greensboro.

-It is very easy to forget a password, a log on and even an email. I can't tell you how many aliases I have LOL! Keep a spreadsheet of logons, passwords, emails this will come in real handy.

-I have a ton of folks in my network, but there is no way to truly keep up with them all, this can become a full-time job all by itself. So instead, group your people together by locations, professions, organizations in your contacts in MS Outlook. This has proven to be more efficient when it comes to networking.

There are networking events, and new meetup groups forming everyday. If you've got an idea and not sure how to implement let's talk about it.
