Overview
At Macungie Assembly Operations, experienced Mack technicians assemble heavy-duty trucks
from remanufactured components. The plant, which covers 283 acres in western Lehigh
County, PA, includes the following operations:
• two chassis assembly lines
• two cab assembly lines
• sleeper box assembly line
• engine groom line
• new vehicle option center
• tire warehouse
• final assembly and test area
• parts warehouse
In operating the Macungie facility, Mack strives to not only meet but to exceed expectations of responsible environmental management, in line with the company’s core corporate value of environmental care. Since 2002, Macungie has successfully implemented a number of
environmental improvement projects and initiatives.
